Joel Westheimer is an American-born academic, and is a full professor at the University of Ottawa, in Ottawa, Canada. He is known for his work in citizenship education. ==Biography== Joel Westheimer was born to Manfred and Ruth Westheimer in Washington Heights, New York City.
